This Privacy Policy describes how MoveLab ("we," "our," or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application on iOS.
Summary
MoveLab is designed with privacy in mind. The app works entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any server. Camera and motion data are processed only on your device and are never sent to us or any third party.
Information the App Uses
1. Camera and Motion Data
- The app uses your device's camera to detect your movements for gameplay (e.g., jumps, hand raises, punches).
- All camera and motion processing happens only on your device using Apple's Vision and AVFoundation frameworks.
- No camera footage, photos, or body-tracking data are recorded, stored permanently, or sent to us or any third party. Data is used in real time and then discarded.
2. Local Game Progress
The app stores the following only on your device (using iOS standard storage) to save your progress:
- Level and XP (experience points)
- Streak and number of challenges completed
- Total actions completed
- Whether you have completed the in-app onboarding
This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. You can clear it by deleting the app.
3. No Account or Identity Data
- MoveLab does not require an account, email, or login.
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any other identifying information.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not collect personal data from you.
- We do not send your data to our servers or to third parties.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs that collect data from the app.
- We do not sell any data, because we do not collect any.
Children's Privacy
MoveLab may be used by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because all processing is on-device and we do not collect data, there is no personal information from children (or anyone) that we store or share.
Disclaimer of Liability / Injury
MoveLab involves physical movement and activity. You use the app at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injury, accident, or health issue that may result from using the app or performing the activities it suggests.
Before starting any physical activity, ensure you have adequate space, a safe environment, and consult a healthcare provider if you have any health concerns. By using the app, you agree that you assume all risk of injury or harm.
Data Security
- All processing and storage happen on your iPhone or iPad.
- Game progress is stored in the app's local storage on your device. We recommend using your device's passcode and security settings to protect your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy. For significant changes, we may notify you through the app or the App Store listing when possible.
